Comedian Dave Chappelle is coming to Boston this October, as part of his "It's A Celebration B!%?#&$!" tour.

Chappelle will be at the TD Garden on Thursday, October 19. Fans looking to see the comedian live can shop for tickets online using StubHub and VividSeats.

Chappelle had previously announced fall 2023 comedy tour dates in July for about a dozen other shows, and added five additional dates, including Boston, in August.

Variety stated in an article that Chappelle has faced controversy in recent years due to his 2021 Netflix special "The Closer," in which the comedian made jokes about transgender people which sparked outrage and protests.

In 2022, Chappelle was attacked by an individual who ran on stage during a performance at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles.
