Drew Scott Made The Ultimate Dad Joke To Show How His & Linda Phan's Son Has Grown Exponentially

Drew Scott just unleashed the ultimate dad joke, and like all solid dad cracks, we're groaning, giggling, and grinning at the remark.

On Thursday, the Property Brothers star shared a candid moment between himself and his son Parker on Instagram. Standing at an outdoor entry to their home, Scott towered behind the 1-year-old as he held both his son's hands. Parker looked down in concentration at his feet, which were engulfed in two of his dad's ginormous shoes.

"Look who's following in my footsteps πŸ‘Ÿ❤️," the HGTV personality wittily captioned the post. Scott hit all the high points of a great dad joke: cheesy yet undeniably cute with nostalgic flair. His journey into fatherhood is still young, but Scott has clearly mastered the loveable corny-cringe factor of a papa pun.

All jokes aside, fans urged the dad of one to soak up every fleeting moment of his son's early days. "You will turn around tomorrow and he will fit in them, it goes by just that fast!" one follower commented beneath the photo. "Cherish this time! ❤️πŸ˜πŸ’•πŸ˜Š"

Others shared similar sentiments, with one person writing, "Drew, Parker is growing up so fast! He'll be grown before you know it! πŸ₯°❤️," and another commenting, "Just think, one day, not so far from now, those shoes will actually fit ❤️."

Scott and his wife Linda Phan welcomed Parker in May 2022. At the beginning of this month, the television personality shared a major milestone their son had achieved: walking all on his own. In just a few short weeks, Parker is already trying out his dad's big boy shoes — and we wouldn't be surprised if he continues to do so, both literally and metaphorically!

Before you go, check out all the times Drew Scott and Linda Phan gave a glimpse into life with their son, Parker.

Big Sean Is In His Dad Joke Era, As He Couldn't Have Been More Wrong About What 'Rizz' Means

In November 2022, Big Sean and JhenΓ© Aiko welcomed their son, Noah. Simple math: Big Sean has had 13 months to embrace fatherhood, and the Detroit rapper was quick to deploy a dad joke — even if it was a slightly inappropriate one — when approached by TMZ on Tuesday, December 19.

In the 98-second video, The off-camera correspondent brought it to Sean Don's attention that the Oxford Word Of The Year is "rizz." Before she could ask him a question about it, Big Sean interjected, "Rizz as in 'j*zz'?"

"No," the TMZ correspondent responded, disappointment soaking her voice. Big Sean claimed, "I was just playin'," but he asked what the word means. According to The Associated Press, rizz is "a term used by Generation Z to describe someone's ability to attract or seduce another person," and it is short for charisma, as explained by Jimmy Fallon.

Anyway, back to Big Sean, who teased he will drop an album at some point in the near-ish future — "it's been a while" — but wouldn't commit to whether he used "Gen-Z words" in songs on the very vaguely confirmed album. "I guess you're gonna have to wait and find out if I used rizz on the album," he said, and the tone of his voice suggests he was just saying anything to get to the end of this interaction — playful yet exasperated.

"Rizz, well, it's kind of like RZA, right?" he said.

Again, no, Big Sean. Not at all.
